Young Software released E-COM v1.1
The last update of ECOM version 1.1 introduce two new features which allows precise control over the shopping cart products. The two new features are product attributes and product gallery. Product Attributes allows user to enter different types of attribute associated with individual products or category. For example, There could be several different attributes related with a product or category. A product like shirt or electronic appliance have their own unique attributes. This features allows to enter different attributes for different product. It also define the user interface of an attribute for example you can display a color attribute in dropdown or checkbox depending upon your requirement. The second features solves the one image per product constraint issue. Earlier version, ECOM only allows two images for each product. One for large image and the second for thumbnail image. With this features, now user can have a image gallery for a product .
New features includes complete control over few settings that were not available earlier.ECOM 1.1 also includes featurs prodcuts. Now ecom customer have choice to display featuers prodcut or latest product in the frontpage. ECOM 1.2 aims to be more versatile including several pluginnable features. Currenlty ECOM 1.1 has newsletter and linkexchnage plugins.
